After a few days of use, we are very impressed. 1. Installation - fairly straightforward but a two man job for the blades is suggested. Instructions are pretty thorough and accurate. Everything feels solid and high quality. 2. Operation - runs near silently and barely above a whisper at night. I’m a light sleeper. The 6 speeds in both directions are excellent. Top tip - buy a lower watt LED than than the 10W standard. It is very bright for a bedroom or living room. We’ve added a 6W warm white instead.

I was very pleased with nearly everything about this fan - it looks great, the electrician had no issues installing it and it is SO quiet - on low speeds you can barely hear a whisper. The only quibble I have is that the - very bright - LED light is not dimmable.

Coming from a 10 year old Fantasia E-motion Snow fan the new TAU is a whole generation ahead. The DC motor is inaudible. The components fit together superbly apart from the trim ring at the top. It has 3 oush-in plastic lugs but one of the receiving he's is blocked by the ceiling bracket. Apart from that little foible I'm extremely pleased with the device

Great looking fan, modern, sleek and so quiet. Delighted with our purchase for our new conservatory. The remote is so easy to use, the light is unobtrusive and the modern, minimalistic design is wonderful. Comes with a great guarantee too!
