Fan arrived promptly and the kit had been well thought out so no problem fitting it. It does what it says on the can.
Good Fan, Poor Control

Having just purchased the Propeller fan, I opted for another in our orangery. I chose the Neptune as it seemed to the same quality, however the remote is not the same. Although it controls the speeds of the fan, the light switch and dimming functions are difficult to use, sometimes hit and miss whether you can turn the light on at all. Other than that, the fan is as fantastic.

Already have a couple of these fans already (one 54" and one 44") so are familiar with them but this is our third bedroom.
Very happy with it - the LED light is a huge improvement on the old halogens. The unit seems a lot more stable too than the previous generation.
Very happy with it.

What a fan it looks so expensive and was surprising easy to put up my husband did it his self with only a little help whilst he got a screw in. It is even better because it's flush mounted. My dogs are now cool as a cucumber so happy.

So we debated about spending the extra although there are more expensive ones. This is one stunning fan looks o expensive quiet as a mouse and the remote is jut brill. My husband put this up on his own with no issue the only fiddly bit was lining up the screw holes. If your debating this don't you won't be disappointed. The delivery on the was amazing as stated next day 1 hour window.

The finished result is a good looking unit and extremely quiet. Very impressive lack of noise. Heavy unit and needs two people to connect it up. Took 90 mins for fiiting one and then 40 mins for a second one in another room.
Remote control is a little disappointing compared to how well-built the fan assembly is. The buttons are spongy especially the light button. Would have liked a clean on/off movement for all the buttons.
stylist and looks good

Remote reciever is space hungry when wiring the fan, bit of a fiddle and heavy at that hieght. Ceiling bessle is really only big enough fot the wiring, let alone reciever too. It can be done just allow time and think about it too. 2 hour job. BTW light can operate from wall switch if you have the perm live at rose. Insulate the light lead from remote receiver. light is 240v

Your fan comes with all the fixings required as well as an easy-to-follow installation guide.
Installing a fan is similar to installing a light fitting. Simply wire into your existing lighting circuit (two core and earth). Connect the coloured wires of the fan to the matching coloured wires of your household electricity supply, following the coloured diagrams supplied in your guide.
For peace of mind, many people prefer to have their ceiling fans installed by a qualified electrician. Should you decide to do this, then rest assured, it should be a simple and quick job for them to do. For technical advice please call 08081684535 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: Your ceiling should be at least 7ft 6" (2.3m) from the floor and the tips of the fan need to be at least 8" (20cm) away from any objects such as a beam or sloping walls. Please check your ceiling is solidly constructed (eg: standard joists and plaster, not plasterboard) as the fixing point needs to be capable of supporting ten times the weight of the fan due to the thrust generated by the movement of the blades.
Everything you need to install the fan is included in the box. However, if you have a sloping ceiling you may need to purchase an additional mounting. If you have a very high ceiling you or a conservatory, you may need to purchase a drop rod and conversion kit.
